The Director of Compliance, Ethics, and Risk Management is responsible for ensuring that all National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) sanctioned events, partners, and affiliated programs operate in full alignment with the Federation’s rules, regulations, policies, and ethical standards. This role oversees compliance monitoring, risk mitigation, and strategic relationship‑building with external sports organizations to elevate the visibility, credibility, and long‑term growth of Stomp & Shake® cheerleading at the national and international levels.
The Director serves as a key advisor to leadership, ensuring that National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) remains aligned with industry best practices, emerging trends, and evolving regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Oversight for Sanctioned Events
Collaborate with the Director of Event Producers to ensure all Event Producers understand and follow National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) rules, regulations, policies, and protocols.
Monitor sanctioned events for compliance with safety, scoring, branding, and operational standards.
Provide guidance and clarification on compliance requirements before, during, and after events.
Review event documentation, incident reports, and post‑event submissions for accuracy and adherence.
Support the Quality Assurance Program by identifying compliance gaps and recommending corrective actions.

2. Ethics Leadership
Uphold and enforce the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation’s (NSASCF) Code of Conduct, Officials Code of Ethics, and all related governance policies.
Address ethical concerns, violations, or misconduct in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all sanctioned partners and officials complete required ethics and professionalism training.
Promote a culture of fairness, transparency, and integrity across all National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF)operations.

3. Risk Management & Safety Standards
Develop and maintain risk‑management protocols for sanctioned events, including safety procedures, emergency action plans, and incident reporting systems.
Identify potential risks related to event operations, partnerships, or organizational activities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Stay informed on legal, safety, and compliance standards relevant to youth sports and cheerleading.
Provide guidance to Event Producers and officials on risk‑related decision‑making.

4. External Relations & Strategic Partnerships
Develop and maintain relationships with sports organizations, governing bodies, youth sports associations, and related entities.
Establish partnerships that enhance the visibility, credibility, and recognition of National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF).
Identify opportunities for collaboration, joint initiatives, and cross‑organizational support.

5. Growth & Recognition Strategy
Identify pathways for national and international recognition of Stomp & Shake® cheerleading.
Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on industry trends and emerging opportunities.

6. Industry Research & Best Practices
Stay updated on trends, regulations, and best practices in cheerleading, youth sports, risk management, and governance.
Conduct research to inform policy updates, compliance frameworks, and strategic planning.
Provide leadership with insights that support informed decision‑making and long‑term organizational growth.
