The Director of Officials & Scoring is responsible for overseeing all aspects of officiating, scoring, and technical rule enforcement for the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) hosted and National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) sanctioned events. This role ensures that competitions are judged fairly, consistently, and in alignment with the cultural and technical standards of Stomp & Shake® cheerleading. The Director leads the development of officials, establishes rules and scoring frameworks, and collaborates with event leadership to ensure proper staffing and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Liaison for NSASCF Officials
Serve as the official point of contact for all judges, officials, and scoring personnel working National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) hosted and sanctioned events.
Provide guidance, support, and communication to officials throughout the season.
Maintain a directory of certified officials and their credentials, availability, and performance history.
Address questions, concerns, or issues raised by officials in a timely and professional manner.

2. Training & Certification of Officials
Develop, update, all training materials, manuals, and educational resources for certified officials.
Know annual certification and recertification processes, including training sessions, workshops, and assessments.
Ensure officials understand scoring systems, division rules, cultural expectations, and ethical standards.
Implement continuing education opportunities to maintain consistency and elevate judging quality.

3. Collaboration with Director of Event Producers
Work closely with the Director of Event Producers to ensure all sanctioned events are properly staffed with qualified officials.
Ensure Event Producers understand officiating requirements, scoring protocols, and panel structures.
Support Event Producers in resolving officiating or scoring concerns before, during, and after events.

4. Rules, Regulations, & Technical Standards
Maintain and update the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation’s (NSASCF) rules and regulations annually.
Ensure all rules reflect cultural authenticity, athlete safety, and competitive fairness.
Provide clarification and rulings on technical questions submitted by coaches, officials, or Event Producers.

5. Scoring System Oversight
Oversee the development, maintenance, and accuracy of the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF)scoring systems and score sheets.
Ensure scoring criteria reflect the technical expectations of Stomp & Shake®.
Lead scoring calibration sessions to ensure consistency across all officials.
Review post‑event scoring data for accuracy, fairness, and alignment with the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation’s (NSASCF) standards.
Support the Quality Assurance Program by evaluating scoring performance and identifying areas for improvement.

6. Collaboration with the Director of the National Black Cheerleading Championship (NBCC)
Coordinate with the National Black Cheerleading Championship (NBCC) Director to provide certified officials and scoring personnel for the championship.
Ensure National Black Cheerleading Championships judging panels meet the highest standards of expertise, cultural knowledge, and fairness.
Support National Black Cheerleading Championships scoring operations, including calibration, panel assignments, and post‑event review.

7. Compliance, Ethics, & Professional Standards
Collaborate with the Director of Compliance, Ethics, and Risk Management to ensure all officials follow the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation’s (NSASCF)rules, policies, and ethical guidelines.
Enforce the National Stomp and Shake Cheerleading Federation (NSASCF) Officials Code of Ethics and address violations promptly.
Ensure all officials complete required annual certifications
